Sawmanager is a software solution for economical saw planning. It enables efficient cutting length optimization and takes capacities into account in order to effectively divide the bar material to be cut and minimize waste.

The software is available in the LTE (Lite), STD (Standard) and PRO versions. BOMAR is offering interested stand visitors these versions free of charge for 30 days.

Each version creates an optimized cutting plan that can be transferred directly to the respective saw via USB connection. This saves a considerable amount of time during work preparation. The LTE version also provides an ECT value (Estimated Cycle Time) for the cutting time.

The Standard and PRO versions offer the user a wider range of additional functions. The standard version only ever relates to one of around fifty BOMAR saws, while the PRO version covers all machines and also allows the inclusion of saws from other manufacturers. An integrated database with over 27,000 material data is available and can be expanded with customer-specific materials.

The PRO version is aimed at saw management with several different saws and offers effective order, capacity and scheduling planning in a sawing center. The process is mapped by differentiating between quotation, order and the production and finishing stages. Delivery times can be planned and displayed. A tabular and color-coded overview is created based on selection criteria. After cutting optimization, the sawmanager displays the resulting cutting plan and the machine assignment.
